SaveTo Wishlist + Advance Side Cart Integration
Using ThemeHunk’s Advance Side Cart for your store’s cart drawer? SaveTo Wishlist adds Save to Wishlist and Move to Wishlist buttons to every item in the drawer, so shoppers who aren’t ready to buy can keep a product for later instead of just deleting it.
Advance Side Cart shows the cart in a drawer that slides out on any page. Without a wishlist option in that drawer, a shopper who isn’t ready to buy an item can only leave it in the cart or remove it, and a removed product is easy to forget.
To solve this, SaveTo Wishlist adds two buttons to each item in the drawer. Save to Wishlist adds the product to the wishlist and leaves it in the cart. Move to Wishlist adds the product to the wishlist and then takes it out of the cart, with the drawer’s items, count and totals updating straight away. For a product variation, the exact variation is saved.
A move only removes the item once the product is safely on the wishlist. If the save doesn’t go through, the item stays in the cart, and moving a product that’s already saved won’t add it twice. Both buttons work for logged-in customers and for guests, and they only appear in the Advance Side Cart drawer, not in other mini carts on your site.
Shoppers can save a product from the cart drawer and still keep it in the cart, ready to check out.
