Flexible Product Fields by WP Desk lets you add custom fields to your WooCommerce products, such as a text box for an engraving, a gift message, or a choice of options. Before this integration, saving one of these products to a wishlist kept only the product itself, so shoppers had to enter their details all over again when they came back to buy.
Now, when a logged-in customer fills in the fields on the product page and clicks Save to Wishlist, the wishlist keeps the values they entered and shows them under the product name, like “Gift note: For Mum”. When they click Add to Cart or Add All to Cart, the item goes into the cart with the same values, line breaks included. Flexible Product Fields checks the values again and prices the item from your current field settings, so the cart always follows your store’s rules.
If a product was saved without its field values, for example from the shop page, or the saved values are no longer valid, the wishlist sends the shopper to the product page to choose their options first. Products without field groups add to the cart as usual, and there are no settings to configure.
