Connecting SaveTo Wishlist with Quick View for WooCommerce

Using ShapedPlugin’s Quick View for WooCommerce to let shoppers preview products in a popup? SaveTo Wishlist adds the Save to Wishlist button to the quick view popup, so shoppers can save a product, or the exact variation they picked, without leaving the page.

About Quick View for WooCommerce & SaveTo Wishlist

Quick View for WooCommerce, now also called Reno Quick View, opens a product in a popup straight from your shop page. The popup is built separately from your product page, so most wishlist button placements never appear in it, including the default Top Right of the Product Image. Shoppers who like what they see have to open the full product page to save it.

To solve this, SaveTo Wishlist adds the Save to Wishlist button to the quick view popup, following your product page button placement. Placements next to the Add to Cart button show there too, and image placements sit above the product title, because the popup shows the product image in its own column. Each popup gets exactly one button, even for products without an Add to Cart button, such as out-of-stock items.

On variable products, the button follows the variation the shopper picks, saves that exact variation and shows whether it’s already on their wishlist. The button works for logged-in customers and guests, just like it does on your product page.

What You Can Do

Let Shoppers Save From the Popup

Shoppers can save a product while previewing it, without opening the full product page.

Save the Right Variation

The button follows the shopper’s choice in the popup, so the wishlist stores the exact variation they picked.

Keep Your Product Page Setup

The popup button follows your Product Page Button Placement, so you manage one set of button settings for both.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to set anything up?No. The button appears in the quick view popup as soon as both plugins are active.

Where does the button appear in the popup? It follows your Product Page Button Placement. Placements around the Add to Cart button appear there, and the two image placements appear above the product title.

Does it work with variable products?Yes. The button follows the variation the shopper selects in the popup and saves that exact variation, and it shows when that variation is already on their wishlist.

How do I turn the button off in the popup?Go to SaveTo Wishlist > Settings > Button Placement & Styles and switch off “Show in Quick View for WooCommerce”. Your product page button isn’t affected. The switch only appears while Quick View for WooCommerce is active.

Does this require SaveTo Wishlist Pro?No. The Quick View for WooCommerce integration is built into the free SaveTo Wishlist plugin, from version 1.1.7 onward.
