5 New SaveTo Wishlist Integrations: CRM, Custom Options, And Cart Management

With the release of the SaveTo Wishlist v1.0.9 integrations, the free version now connects directly with 5 popular WordPress plugins.

This update helps you trigger automated emails when customers save products, place save buttons right inside cart popups, and stop custom product details from getting lost at checkout.

These integrations only run if you have the matching plugin installed. If you don’t use them, they stay completely turned off. This means zero extra clutter and zero impact on your site’s speed!

Here’s a plain-English breakdown of exactly how each new connection works under the hood!

5 New SaveTo Wishlist Plugin Integrations

Each of the SaveTo Wishlist v1.0.9 integrations unlocks a specific workflow: from marketing automations to cart enhancements. Here is a breakdown of how each integration functions and how to set it up on your store.

1. Barn2 Fast Cart: Save Items Directly From The Cart Popup

Barn2’s Fast Cart plugin replaces the default WooCommerce cart with a slide-out popup. Previously, if a customer opened that popup and decided they wanted to save an item for later, they had to close the cart and return to the product or shop page to find your wishlist button.

This Barn2 Fast Cart wishlist integration places a “Save to Wishlist” button right inside the Fast Cart popup, next to each line item.

How it works

  • Cart Popup Integration: The button renders using your existing cart page button settings (matching your configured icons, labels, and colors). Clicking it adds the item to the wishlist and shows the standard notification without closing the popup, so customers don’t lose their place.
  • Smart Click Handling: Fast Cart normally swallows unrecognized clicks inside its popup. SaveTo explicitly registers the wishlist button and its “choose list” popup as allowed elements without overwriting click handlers registered by your theme or other plugins.
  • Guest Rules Applied: The button respects your site’s guest-wishlist settings. If you’ve disabled wishlists for guests, logged-out visitors won’t see the button inside the popup.

Settings and configuration

There’s no setup required; it’s enabled by default as soon as both plugins are active.

If you want to turn it off, go to SaveTo Wishlist → Settings → Button Placement & Styles tab → Button Settings and toggle Show in WooCommerce Fast Cart. Note: This setting toggle is hidden entirely if the Fast Cart plugin isn’t active on your site.

If you use Barn2’s other tools, our Product Table integration works the same way.

2. FluentCRM: Turn Wishlist Activity Into Email Automations

Adding an item to a wishlist is a clear sign of customer intent. This integration passes those actions to FluentCRM by tagging contacts. You can then trigger automated email sequences, such as sending a follow-up nudge if a customer saves a product but doesn’t buy it.

How it works

  • Automatic Tagging & Detachment: You can map specific tags to wishlist actions. When a customer adds an item, the plugin applies your designated tag. If they remove the item from their wishlist, the plugin automatically detaches that tag to keep your contact data accurate.
  • Wishlist Saves: You can also trigger a tag whenever a customer saves an entire wishlist.
  • Automatic Contact Creation: If a logged-in user isn’t in FluentCRM yet, the integration creates a new contact using their account email address and then applies the appropriate tag.
  • 100% Local Processing: The entire integration runs on your own server using local WordPress hooks. It doesn’t make external API calls or send customer data offsite.
  • Guests Skipped: This integration only applies to logged-in users. Guest activity is completely ignored, so you won’t end up with empty contacts or invalid entries.

Settings and configuration

The FluentCRM wishlist integration adds a new tab to your plugin settings at SaveTo Wishlist → Settings → Integrations tab → FluentCRM. Note: This tab only appears in your dashboard if FluentCRM is installed and active.

To set it up:

  1. Turn on the Enable FluentCRM integration switch (it is off by default).
  2. Select your tags from the Added to wishlist tag and Wishlist saved tag dropdowns.

You must select at least one tag for the integration to work; simply switching the toggle on without mapping tags won’t trigger any activity. If you just created a new tag in FluentCRM and don’t see it in the dropdown right away, wait a few minutes or clear your cache, as the list refreshes every five minutes.

3. Mail Mint: Automate Email Marketing From Wishlist Activity

Mail Mint lets you build targeted email campaigns based on what your customers do. When a logged-in shopper saves a product, this Mail Mint wishlist integration passes that action directly to Mail Mint so you can trigger automated emails.

How it works

  • Automatic Tagging: SaveTo Wishlist applies standardized tags in Mail Mint when actions occur: Wishlist - Product Added, Wishlist - Product Removed, and Wishlist - Saved. If these tags don’t exist yet, the plugin creates them automatically.
  • Tag History: Unlike FluentCRM (which detaches tags on removal), Mail Mint adds a separate Wishlist - Product Removed tag when an item is taken off a wishlist. This keeps a full history of customer activity on their contact profile.
  • Automatic Contact Creation: If a logged-in user saves an item but isn’t in Mail Mint yet, the plugin creates a contact profile using their account email (set to subscribed status by default).
  • 100% Local Processing: This integration runs directly on your server using standard WordPress hooks. It never sends customer data to outside APIs or third-party servers.
  • Guest Handling: Guest activity is ignored. The integration only tracks logged-in accounts, keeping your email list clean.

Settings and configuration

There are no settings to configure and no switches to turn on. The integration works automatically as soon as both plugins are active. Simply set up your Mail Mint automations to listen for the auto-generated tags.

4. PPOM: Protect Custom Product Options

Personalized Product Option Manager (PPOM) lets customers customize items with options like text engravings, file uploads, or drop-down choices. Wishlists don’t store custom options yet, which previously meant customers could move configured items to their cart with missing details.

This PPOM wishlist integration adds a safeguard to prevent broken configurations and incomplete orders.

How it works

  • Replaces Add to Cart Button: Inside the customer’s wishlist view, any item requiring PPOM fields replaces the standard “Add to Cart” button with a “Select options” button that routes shoppers back to the product page to pick their options.
  • Excluded from Bulk Adds: Products requiring custom fields are automatically skipped when a customer uses “Add All to Cart” or “Add Selected to Cart” on the wishlist page.
  • Server-Side Backstop: If any process attempts to force an unconfigured PPOM item into the cart from the wishlist, the server blocks it with a notice directing the customer to choose their options first.

Settings and configuration

There are no settings to configure. The safeguard turns on automatically as long as the PPOM plugin is active on your site. If PPOM isn’t active, this code doesn’t run at all.

5. Tiered Pricing Table: Display Bulk Discounts On Saved Items

If you offer bulk discounts, showing a single price on a wishlist leaves out key details. This Tiered Pricing Table wishlist integration renders a native pricing table directly on saved products, showing shoppers exactly what they’ll pay at different quantities.

How it works

  • Live Table Rendering: SaveTo Wishlist builds its own lightweight tiered pricing breakdown inside the wishlist view. As customers change the quantity, the table highlights their current tier and updates the subtotal live. Therefore, there’s no need to jump back to the product page.
  • Flexible Quantities: The integration doesn’t force customers to meet the lowest bulk threshold. Shoppers can choose any quantity from 1 upward; if they order below the first bulk tier, they simply pay the regular base price.
  • Variable Product Support: If a product has variations with different pricing rules, the table automatically updates when the customer switches their variation.
  • Automatic Activation: The pricing table only loads if the Tiered Pricing Table plugin is active on your site.

Settings and configuration

There are no settings to adjust. The feature turns on automatically as soon as both plugins are active.

Also In This Release: Core Updates

Alongside these SaveTo Wishlist v1.0.9 integrations, we also shipped key updates to the core plugin in this release. Here’s a quick summary of what else is new:

  • A Native Wishlist Block: You no longer need to type shortcodes to display a wishlist. You can now drop a native Wishlist block right into the standard WordPress editor or the new Site Editor.
  • Direct to Checkout: You can now send shoppers straight to the cart or checkout page immediately after they click “Add All to Cart” on their wishlist.

Ready To Upgrade Your Wishlists?

The SaveTo Wishlist v1.0.9 integrations make the plugin much more than a basic list of saved products. They turn your wishlists into a smart tool that builds your email list, speeds up shopping, and protects your custom item details.

Best of all, this entire system runs completely on your own server. Your site stays fast, and your customer data stays totally private.
