How to show wholesale prices on the wishlist

If you run a wholesale store, your wholesale customers expect to see their discounted prices everywhere, including the wishlist page.

SaveTo Wishlist Pro works with WooCommerce Wholesale Prices to show each customer’s correct wholesale price in the wishlist table. There’s no setting to change in SaveTo Wishlist. It works as long as both plugins are active and you set the wholesale prices in WooCommerce.

Requirements

  • SaveTo Wishlist Pro installed and active, with an active license for the exact selected-variation price
  • SaveTo Wishlist Lite 1.1.6 or later: needed for the exact selected-variation price on variable products. Earlier versions show a wholesale price range instead.
  • WooCommerce Wholesale Prices (free)

What you need to set up

The integration is automatic. There’s no toggle to flip in SaveTo Wishlist settings. Follow these steps to make sure everything is in place.

Install the plugins

  1. Install and activate SaveTo Wishlist Pro on your site.
  2. Install and activate WooCommerce Wholesale Prices.

Set wholesale prices on simple products

  1. Open a simple product.
  2. Go to the General tab.
  3. Enter your wholesale price in the Wholesale Price field below the Sale price.
  4. Click Update.

For screenshots of these fields, see how to configure your wholesale price on products in the Wholesale Suite knowledge base.

Set wholesale prices on variable products

  1. Open a variable product.
  2. Go to the Variations tab.
  3. Expand a variation.
  4. Enter your wholesale price in the Wholesale Price field for that variation.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each variation.
  6. Click Save changes.

Give customers the Wholesale Customer role

WooCommerce Wholesale Prices creates a default Wholesale Customer role when you activate it. To add more roles, you’ll need WooCommerce Wholesale Prices Premium.

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Users → All Users.
  2. Tick the checkbox next to the customer you want to make a wholesale customer.
  3. Under Change role to, select Wholesale Customer.
  4. Click Change.

Once those are in place, the wishlist table shows each wholesale customer their correct price on every page load.

Wholesale prices only appear when a customer with a wholesale role is logged in. Guests and customers without a wholesale role see the standard retail prices.

What customers see

When a wholesale customer views their wishlist, the Price column shows their wholesale price instead of the regular retail price.

For simple products, the column shows the product’s wholesale price directly.

For variable products, the wishlist row shows the variation the customer selected on the product page. The price column shows that variation’s exact wholesale price instead of a range across every variation. WooCommerce Wholesale Prices formats it the same way it does everywhere else on your store: the regular price struck through, with a “Wholesale Price:” label next to the discounted price (for example, $12.00 Wholesale Price: $8.00 for a Large, Red V-Neck). This needs SaveTo Wishlist Lite 1.1.6 or later and an active SaveTo Wishlist Pro license. If either one is missing, the price column shows a wholesale price range instead.

Non-wholesale customers and guests always see the regular retail price as usual.

Troubleshooting

A wholesale customer sees the regular retail price for one item, but wholesale prices show correctly everywhere else.
You haven’t set a wholesale price for that specific product (or, for variable products, that specific variation) under the customer’s wholesale role. Open the product, go to the General tab for simple products or the Variations tab for variable products, and set a wholesale price for that role.

No wholesale prices show up anywhere, even for products with a wholesale price set.
This usually means WooCommerce Wholesale Prices isn’t active, or you haven’t assigned the customer’s account a wholesale role. Confirm the plugin is active on the Plugins screen, and check the customer’s role under Users → All Users.

A variable product shows a wholesale price range instead of the selected variation’s price.
Update SaveTo Wishlist Lite to version 1.1.6 or later on the Plugins screen. If it’s already up to date, check that your SaveTo Wishlist Pro license is active. The exact variation price only shows when both are in place.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work with the free version of SaveTo Wishlist?
With WooCommerce Wholesale Prices active, the free plugin shows wholesale prices in the Price column, using the same format as your product pages. SaveTo Wishlist Pro adds two things: the Subtotal column uses wholesale prices, and variable products show the exact price of the selected variation instead of a price range.

What if a product has no wholesale price set for that customer’s role?
If you haven’t set a wholesale price for a product, the wishlist shows the regular retail price for that item instead. To fix it, open the product in WooCommerce → Products, go to the General tab, and add a wholesale price in the Wholesale Price field.

What happens if I deactivate WooCommerce Wholesale Prices?
Nothing breaks. The integration checks whether WooCommerce Wholesale Prices is active before it does anything. If the plugin is not active, the wishlist shows regular retail prices and everything else works normally.
